The ESS methodology is based on the probability sampling of a country's population aged 15+ and collecting data using a personal interview method. National methodologies differ slightly concerning population and available sampling frame. In 2002–2003, income from agricultural activities was also in the category "income from self-employment (excluding farming)". There was no survey in 2006–2007. In 2024, data collection was carried out using an online and paper questionnaire. |
